- Abstract
- Richard Wilde is a designer and design educator who has been associated with the School of Visual Arts since 1969, including serving as chair of the Advertising and Graphic Design programs its various incarnations from 1971-2019. The Richard Wilde Papers comprise mainly posters, most of which Wilde had some hand in creating (as designer, art director, or creative director). Additional materials include exhibition announcements, invitations, and promotional material; professional certificates awarded to Wilde; advertisements for talks and workshops given by Wilde; and a few photographs.
