Home to thousands of historically prized design pieces, from many designers and illustrators, ranging from posters, packaging and printed ephemera to audio recordings, video and photography, plus original art, sketches and reference photographs, the Archives is an invaluable resource to anyone wishing to study a designer’s work in-depth, including concept and process.
The Glaser Design Archives and the SVA Archives are housed within the SVA Library and are available and free to students, faculty, and alumni as well as to outside researchers, designers and students. Schedule an appointment here.
